Give Away Rules

1. Entries start Sunday, 2/28/21 and end Saturday, 3/6/21 at 11PM EST.

2. There are two ways to enter: 

Share a photo or video of you donating food to a community fridge, share it to Instagram or Twitter as a post or story. Tag us + use hashtag #somosgiveaway. 

You can also donate a MINIMUM of $5 to a community fridge’s CashApp/Venmo/PayPal. Screenshot the receipt of donation and share it to Instagram or Twitter as a story or post. Tag us + use hashtag #somosgiveaway

3. You can earn more than one entry. 

Every item donated at a Community Fridge will count as an entry. A donation of two items will count as two entries, three items as three entries and so on.

Every $5 increment donated to a community fridge’s Cashapp/Venmo/PayPal will count as an entry. A $10 donation will count as two entries, $15 as three entries and so on.

The more entries you have, the better your odds of winning.

4. You must be following Somos NY on the social media platform you enter on. Either on Instagram @somos.ny or Twitter @somos_newyork

5. Comment what color and size you’d like on the Instagram or Twitter post.

7. Be sure your profile is public so that we get notified when you enter.

8. Winner will be contacted via DM on Sunday 3/7/21.

You may use our NYC Community Fridge Map List to find a fridge near you, and Cash App/Venmo/PayPal info, hours, contact info etc.
